How To Remove Bitnami Corner Banner From WordPress on Google Cloud
In this tutorial I will show you how to remove the Bitnami banner that appears on your WordPress site after installing WordPress on Google Cloud Platform.
Before getting started with this tutorial, you should’ve already installed WordPress on Google Cloud Platform.

Let’s get started.
There are 3 steps in this tutorial:
- 1. Access your WordPress instance
- 2. Enter command to disable banner
- 3. Restart Apache
1. Access your WordPress instance
2. Enter command to disable banner
sudo /opt/bitnami/apps/wordpress/bnconfig --disable_banner 1
3. Restart Apache
sudo /opt/bitnami/ctlscript.sh restart apache
That’s it!
You will not longer see the Bitnami banner at the corner of your WordPress website.
